Unfortunately no, the way to the art studios might comprise stairs and cobblestoned sections.

Is it possible to buy local art during the tour?

Most of the times yes, the artists or artisans usually put some of their art for direct sale, and of course most of them also sell online.

Are tour participants allowed to wander around independently?

I'll ask the tour particpants to saty grouped during our walk, but when we enter large spaces or venues hosing several art or crafts studios, we can agree on a short moment of free time, so that every one can enjoy to the fullest the art that speaks the most to them.

Is Paris B-sides affiliated with any of these art studios or shops?

Paris B-sides has no commercial affiliation with artists or shop keepers, thus no commissions of any sort on potential sales. The only retribution of Paris B-sides comes from the ticket cost for the tour.

Whether they work with stone, metal, wood, ink, paint, textiles or leather, craftspeople and artists form fascinating communities, bridges between history and modernity. My personal view is that, with the advent of artificial intelligence, they are a necessary reminder that human gestures, instinct and creativity are essential to our society.

To finish off with a drink, a combined ticket (walk + bar) will sometimes be available, depending on the days when this special tour is organized. N.B.: Participants stay responsible for their drinks / public transport might be needed to reach the bar.

Occasionally, a special combined ticket (walk + jazz bar) will allow you to attend a great jazz gig in a warm but hip bistro, where locals, tourists, young people and seniors mingle to appreciate fantastic musicians.
