I highly recommend any of his tours for a chance to see parts of Paris that off the tourist-y path! And I highly encourage you to take him up on the offer to have drinks post tour, he has many tales to share! Nick Boehm2024-10-26Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I very much enjoyed my time with Cedric for the Paris B-Sides covered passageways tour. This is such a wonderful way to interact with a city, walking with someone who has lived here for many years and knows the little details of what everyday life is like in Paris. I enjoy museums, but I also like to experience the history of a place by walking its streets and sidewalks and gardens and learn about things that I would never pick up from a group tour, at a slower pace. A tour with Cedric is like visiting an old friend in their city, it is calm, comfortable and at the right speed. A wonderful experience and I would suggest making time for a tour during any visit to Paris. Serafino Teseo2024-09-10Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve had the pleasure of going on two tours with Cédric—one exploring the Passages Couverts, which was an unexpected and fascinating experience, and another along the Coulée Verte. The latter gave me a fresh perspective on places I thought I knew, thanks to Cédric's insightful curation. Despite living in Paris for over 15 years, these tours were absolutely worth it and offered a unique way to see the city. Highly recommended!!! Their knowledge of the city's history and culture added depth to each stop. They were flexible, adjusting the tour to our interests and pace, which made the our morning along the canal with him very enjoyable. Their friendly demeanor made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout the tour. We also enjoyed talking about current events and Parisian culture with him. Thanks Cédric! He truly embodies the flâneur type—a man about town who knows the story of every corner and has friends at every café. Or at least it seems that way :) But let me back up. I first contacted Cédric after seeing how helpful and patient he was with tourists asking the same handful of questions on the r/ParisTravelGuide subreddit. My wife and I were planning a trip to the city in July with her parents, and I was looking for someone who could take us off the beaten path—which proved invaluable considering many of the usual tourist spots were closed off and/or mobbed with tourists due to preparations for the Summer Olympics. True to form, Cédric was responsive and very accommodating, helping me turn my scatterbrained ideas into something resembling an itinerary while also leaving room for improvisation. We began our day together by exploring the Marche d'Aligre—Cédric even paid for our café noisettes to help get us moving—and then the five of us spent a lovely afternoon strolling along the Coulée verte René-Dumont and surrounding neighborhood. The man is a natural conversationalist, and it was a pleasure chatting with him about this or that and learning interesting facts about this city he so clearly loves. After a nice lunch (with Cédric working his magic on the staff to help accommodate my father-in-law's dietary restrictions), he whisked us away to a new neighborhood that felt like we'd stepped out of Paris and into a quiet village in the countryside (if you want to know where, you'll have to take a tour of your own). The whole time we never felt rushed, allowing us to really feel connected to the areas we were inhabiting—Cédric even gave us an extra hour of his time free of charge, just in case you were wondering just how nice a guy he is. I could go on and on about how enjoyable our tour with Cédric was, but suffice it to say that it made my in-laws happy, which made my wife happy, and that type of goodwill doesn't come cheap. I highly recommend taking a tour with Cédric if you get a chance—I know for sure I'll be reaching out the next time I visit Paris, which I hope is sooner than later! My partner and I had the pleasure of joining Cédric for a tour of Le Petite Ceinture and some beautiful neighborhoods and parks. Visiting from the U.S., we wanted to see a side of Paris beyond the typical touristy areas, and the tour definitely delivered on that. Cédric was easy to talk to and we learned so much in our few hours with him. We'll be recommending his tours to friends and family traveling to Paris and hope to make it back for another tour at some point!Google rating score: 5.0 of 5, based on 6 reviews
